Contempora 2 continues the PICES contemporary exhibition series with a strong and diverse selection of artists working across painting, printmaking, photography, collage and woodturning. This exhibition highlights a rich dialogue between materials, imagery and ideas, showcasing practices that are both experimental and deeply considered.
The artists featured in Contempora 2 explore themes of landscape, abstraction, narrative, memory and form, offering visitors a layered and engaging exhibition experience. From painterly gesture and photographic observation to sculptural precision and collage-based storytelling, the exhibition reflects the breadth of contemporary art practice today.

The Artist Insights Forum continues with Contempora 2, bringing together artists working across painting and photography to discuss their approaches to contemporary art making.

This forum provides an opportunity to gain deeper insight into each artistโs practice, explore their use of materials and imagery, and engage in conversation about the ideas shaping their work.
Both forums are moderated by Adrian Montana, arts maker, educator and PICES committee member.
