The PICES 2025 Small Works Exhibition, running from 12 December to 1 January 2026, was about making art accessible, affordable and enjoyable during the busy Christmas and New Year period.

This much-loved exhibition brought together a wonderful range of artworks under 50cm - perfect for that special Christmas gift, collector piece, or simply to brighten up your home. It was a great chance for art lovers to pick up something original without the big price tags.

In 2024, the 50 x 50 Exhibition was a great success, with 50 artists showcasing their work and so many pieces snapped up by Christmas shoppers and collectors alike. The response was incredible, showing just how keen people are to find meaningful, hand-made artworks at an accessible size and price. It created a real buzz in the gallery and confirmed that small works have a big place in our community.

In 2025, we built on that success with an even broader mix of styles, mediums, and local talent. Whether you were after a unique gift, starting your art collection, or looking for a little piece that speaks to you, there was plenty to choose from.

Over 100 works were available for viewing in the beautiful Berninneit Art Gallery.
